Founded in 2020, Young Dust is a Prague based
vintage store that offers carefully curated pieces of clothing and accessories,
and so much more.
At Young Dust, our aim is to break stereotypes about vintage and second-hand shopping.
The quality of our products is one of our main priorities as 90% of our products are handpicked. Indeed, before each garment makes its way onto the display, it is
carefully checked for defects before being washed and steamed. These important steps allow us to ensure the highest quality.

Because ultimately, we wish to give the kind of shopping experience, where the customer forgets he is in a second-hand shop, by minimising the signs of pre-usage. Altering the appearance of our products is sometimes necessary to bring the garment to its best condition. But it is also oftentimes a choice, as upcycling is something we aspire to do more and more. Taking a certain piece of clothing and customizing it, or turning it into a completely different item presents a whole new level of originality.

Buying pre-owned/pre-used/upcycled is not only an experience where one can find an absolutely unique piece for a fraction of its original retail price, but it is also a way of reducing our footprint on the environment.

The textile industry is in fact responsible for approximately 10% of the global Co2 emissions, not mentioning water consumption in production or waste creation.

Becoming a slow-fashion shopper, is a much more sustainable and ethical way of consuming.

At Young Dust, we want our customers to feel inspired in finding the unique piece they did not know they were looking for. That counts even for those that are not necessarily complete second-hand/vintage affiliates. By offering a little bit of everything from all kinds of styles, whether its is streetwear, retro or a more sophisticated and tailored form of fashion, we believe that anyone can find something to their taste at Young Dust.

Yes, we are first and foremost a clothing store, where one can find typical vintage pieces such as a pair of Levi's jeans, retro Nike, Adidas of Lacoste track-jackets, fashionable blazers, but also accessories such as watches, vinyls and jewelery. You may find even some art pieces in the form of limited prints for instance, or in other words posters, made by young independent local artists.

Young Dust is not limited to a simple retail space. In fact, we seek to transcend our concept into a whole lifestyle.

How was Young Dust founded?

Young Dust has been founded by a pair of childhood friends, both with very international background. Matthias and Sebastien found inspiration from vintage shops across Europe's major cities with well established vintage scenes such as London, Paris or Berlin, putting together their own blend, of what has become Young Dust.
